    1. The granite memorial at Corbière Point, Jersey, commemorates the emergency services who helped to save all passengers and crew of the ‘Channiland St Malo’ after the ferry struck rocks on Easter Monday, 1995.
    2. This is where French troops landed in Jersey, the Battle of Jersey.
    3. 1895 – an open-air sea swimming pool opened by the Jersey Swimming Club, which was built to encourage people to learn how to swim after two young boys drowned at Havre des Pas.
